I am an electronics service in our close-knit family and we use a lot of cables. MANY cables! Of all cables, Lightning is the thinnest and most easily damaged. When I was looking for another replacement set, I stumbled across this one and winced at the price. However, after reading the product description, I realized that the designers have eliminated almost all the problems and shortcomings that I have encountered over the past decade and decided to give them a chance. I'm glad I did. Although they are about 3 times more expensive than my regular cable, I think they will save you money in the long run. My husband was never able to hurt him no matter how he twisted and tortured him. My daughters, who have a habit of pulling out cords, haven't dented them, and I've found my devices to charge about twice as fast with this cord. Also, after four months of daily use, there is virtually no carbon build-up on the zipper tips. I highly recommend them; These are the best Lightning cables I've ever owned.
