I won't lie, I really like this type of boot when paired with a controller, but there are a few small things I would change. I installed these buttons on a brand new Pro Controller and it is very difficult to open the controller. When I got to the triggers, things got a little more complicated. The ZL and ZR triggers are held to the frame with a small metal bar that holds them in place. Removing this small metal bar without tools is quite difficult, so I recommend having the right tools for it. they are stubborn I would say, that's both good and bad. It's of course good that the pants feel grippy, but it's bad because this coating can tear quite easily and when that happens the pants look pretty bad. Another feature of the face buttons is that they don't look anything like the original on the Pro Controller. The OG buttons have a sort of click when you use them, but this one doesn't, so it was a bit odd for me, but that's entirely personal preference. And finally, when you put that last piece I just mentioned on the front buttons and shell of the same brand, the buttons feel like they don't exist. I don't know if it's a shell or a combination of shell and face buttons, but the buttons make absolutely no sound when pressed when you connect 2 elements. Like I said it was really weird for me because I didn't have any feedback on what I was pressing and it felt like I wasn't pressing anything and I didn't really like that feeling. But then again it might be something you need in your controller but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Finally the cross. When you install it, you'll immediately notice that both the OG and this new D-Pad are made differently. After replacing them they felt the same, but I had the same problem as with the face pants, no sound. In conclusion, most of the things I mentioned were things I personally didn't like about these boots, but overall they look pretty good. They don't feel like the buttons on the OG Pro controller, but they definitely look better than the original buttons. I have a rundown of the skin I used and the end result if you'd like to take a look if you're planning on replacing your Pro Controller's skin.
