Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Powerextra Face Tracking Selfie Stick 360ยฐ Rotation Smart Shooting Mount Vlog Holder for iPhone Android Camera โ€“ Sturdy Smart Tracking Phone Holder by Angela Fullerton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The device is set up immediately, Bluetooth is connected and the app on the phone works perfectly. 'but'.

Powerextra Face Auto Tracking Holder really works. Before taking the device to the video capture area, I downloaded the app to my phone. But I didn't start it. So I walked down the hall and sat down at my review table, and it was a few more minutes since I unpacked the device, plugged it in, and launched the app. But let me share this, when I loaded the app my android program said APP WAITING WAITING. or something like that. I didn't feel very well. One issue that quickly dampened my enthusiasm for the ease of Bluetooth connectivity occurred when I launched the desktop application. While it loaded quickly, an agreement of use appeared on my phone screen right at the beginning of launch. And throughout the text I've seen something about the country of origin permission for consent (I won't mention it here), some pretty ominous assumptions and permissions. Having gotten this far I figured I'd go ahead and try the device and then immediately delete the app. That's exactly what I did. So in terms of tracking device performance. It worked exactly as I expected. Not as smooth as I'd like, but it tracked my face horizontally left and right as I sat at my boardroom table. Ironically, the tracking device I tested a few months ago did exactly the same thing, but had a built-in app that didn't require a cell phone connection or app. The complaint I had at the time was that the price was almost twice the price of this device. For performance, both devices tracked. But both have a delay in starting the movement. Both the beginning and the end are sharp, not smooth like a real gimbal device. While I'd love to like this item, especially at its current price of just over $20, the app scares me. I'll add that the Android app program pointed this out when downloading, and I'll paraphrase, APPROVAL-CERTIFICATION IS PENDING. If you are ok with adding such an application, this is a 5 star article. But I would rather use one of my stabilizers from a reputable supplier. While there is always a risk of someone's devices being hacked, I see no need to "invite" the ability via an app that hasn't even been approved at the time of writing this review; hence my 3 stars.
