Perfect fit for Honda Accord 2008 My previous air filter was a FRAM and I think it reduces outside odors a little more than the other. It doesn't have activated charcoal, so if there are really bad gas smells, some of them will still come through, but not as much as they used to. However, I would say that this restricts airflow a little more than other air filters I've used. For example, to get smooth airflow, instead of fan speed 2 of max 10, I default to a speed of 4 out of 10. It still cools very well at high speed, so I choose improved filtering to run the fan at speed a to to let. slightly higher than usual. Overall very happy with this purchase.
