I read all the reviews and I knew there were very few instructions but I was surprised. I chose the lamp because I needed a remote control. I was replacing a ceiling fan that wasn't controlled by a wall switch. My kids need different colors so I chose this lamp. There is a plastic cube on the wires that you need to connect to the ceiling. I connected the cables together and plugged them in. Note that they are labeled N and L for Neutral and Function. I used a closed plate that was attached to the junction box there and I only attached it in two places. The block is very light and stable. The lamp can be divided into 3 parts for easier installation. It fell twice while setting up a solo project on bunk beds. It is plastic and has scratched the outer ring. After several attempts, he got up and ran. The unit hangs a bit and you can see the wires, but I just moved them to the other side so it's not noticeable. When installing the battery, you need to attach the round cable on top and then press the Wi-Fi button for a few seconds to sync. It is necessary to get this information from reviews, because here, too, except for some drawings, there are no instructions from the manufacturer. The remote comes with a wall mount bracket, but the first two times I pulled it out of the unit, the back of the remote fell off and the battery died. Not an option with young children, so I attached it to the wall with velcro. I have little experience with electricity, I can switch lights, fans, outlets and I figured it out but it was annoying. Would give 5 stars if there were proper instructions. Has been running for a week now with no problems. It's a small bedroom but it's beautifully lit and the kids love sleeping with colored lights.
