Review on 💾 WD 2TB Network NAS 3.5-Inch WDBMMA0020HNC-NRSN by Casey Vance

A quick note: this is a NAS drive. Hopefully, by the time most buyers look at this product, they will already know that this is no ordinary desktop drive. It's not about speed, it's about reliability and the ability to work 24/7 almost every day. This product did just that. It's not the fastest little drive, but it seems pretty quiet for my small setup. I didn't fail either. I have absolutely no brand loyalty and have had both Seagate and WD hard drive failures. I'm trying to find information about a specific model. It's been a few weeks now and I haven't had any problems. I would buy a pair or more of these again. It's retail packaging now, so screws and other goodies are inside. I have a lot of gear laying around after years of buying parts, but for others it's just nice to have it in one place straight out of the box. I'm planning on installing another NAS build next year, so I'll be switching hardware for that. Again, I didn't set this in the desktop preferences as that's not the real purpose. There are cheaper and faster hard drives available. This is for setting up a NAS and has worked well for that. However, less than 30 days of testing is not long enough. So if I run into problems, I update.
