Some tricks I learned

As with the other reviews, you definitely need to take your time to get them right. I got lucky and only had to remove one after installing 15 12" x 12" tiles. Mastering my technique, I found I found it easier to use about 30% of the back and enough of the front that I could use the front's protective plastic as a handle as it made installation so much easier. Then I leveled the tile by aligning it to the starting point or to an existing tile at a 70-80 degree angle. Once the tile was level, I drew the tile against the wall by slowly pressing down on it while peeling off the rest of the backing and pressing down on the tile until it was in place. I didn't use a roller but a small terry towel to press the tiles down. Once attached, I removed the protective clear plastic from the front. After all my tiles were in place, I noticed a very small gap in a few spots (much less than the thickness of a credit card), so I used Painters Acrylic Latex Sealant (White), the installer preferred the last color, and wore one small on line with a trowel and filled in those very small gaps. Then smooth with a spatula and immediately clean the residue with a warm, damp paper towel and then dry with a paper towel. I originally planned to line up both sides of the tile where I added caulk with painter's tape and then fill in a small gap with Rust-Oleum Bright (7715-Aluminum) metal finish, but the gaps weren't visible after caulking, so I skipped the spray painting. I was very happy with my results.
