Review on Wireless Interconnected Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Voice Location - First Alert SCO501CN-3ST, Battery Operated by Chris Laznovsky

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First alarm, second speed

He speaks but there is no button to repeat the message if you missed it. It's a singing birthday card mixed with a smoke alarm. There's a button and 2 indicators, plus a fine print 10-page manual that explains how all the hundreds of functions are supposed to work. Programming a clock on a 1980's VCR looks like a convenient user experience by comparison. The cat is now staring at the ceiling, wondering if the CO level is high or if it's just a low battery alert. So when the whole house starts warning about something, you quickly realize that the smoke detectors have connected Skynet to end humanity and they start taunting you with beeps once a minute and a demonic warning every 5 hours repeat (according to the manual if you live that long).
