Installation Tip: Lighting and Ceiling Fans
So installation is not as easy as you think. After looking at some tips and tricks on the internet I realized that to insert the wire you need to push back the little metal tabs on the side holes with a paper clip. The wire doesn't go through holes like other reviewers have said. If you try to put wire through the small round holes at the top, they won't hold. Use the hole to insert a paper clip and hold the metal tabs on the side to allow the wire to go in. After installation it works great. All 3 speeds available! I'm glad the chain is long enough to accommodate my extra high ceilings.
