So I bought a similar needle threader at my local sewing store. It works so well with my aging eyes that I had to buy a bundle to give to my seamstress friends. I bought a few more from Revain that I use myself and they work just like the store bought ones. The needle threader is thin enough to accept small eyed needles - care must be taken with this, as with any wire needle bar. If extra tension is needed, grasp the wire as close to the needle as possible, on the side opposite the loose thread. Don't rely on the needle threader to hold the wire connected to it. If your thread is too thick, yes - the wire will break!
