My son chose these and was thrilled to receive them. When they got there he was gone so I looked around a bit. I'm a little confused to begin with. The order on Amazon says GIRLS SHOES, the description says BOYS SHOES, what is that? Also, the first thing I noticed was that they were obviously dirty in my first one, even though someone tried them on or something. Lots of loose threads. I'm worried they'll fall apart in a few weeks (especially considering a recent review addressed this very issue). Reviews said the shoe is bigger, but written reviews said, you should order one size bigger. My son usually wears an 11, they don't have a 12 so we expected 12.5 which might be a bit more appropriate for summer. They're against his big toe, so he's definitely smaller. I haven't had any other experiences with it or just us. However, he is so smitten with them that he doesn't want me to send them back for a larger size.
