Absolute protection against corrosion from moisture!
It's nice when the shrink tubing is already installed. I use them on our boats and all electrical connections that are exposed to moisture. I add a second layer of heat shrink tubing over the entire joint for double protection. I took these connectors apart after 10 years in salt water on our boat to find ZERO corrosion! Why not use them in every electrical project?
