I would love to love these oil pastels but they remind me of standard mungyo student chalk (blue box). At first it is applied gently, but the next layer scratches the previous one. I couldn't figure out how to make them work for me. I have several brands of oil pastels including Mungyo Gallery, Cray Pas Specialist, Art Aspire, Sennelier and Carandache. Maybe this works for those who don't draw layers. The colors look vibrant and the box is made in pastel colors protected by foam.
