Review on Mudinpet Harness Adjustable Reflective Comfortable Cats by Dawn Atchison

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Kittens' front paws are limited, moreover, they could almost wriggle out. Went with Petsafe instead.

I've always had trouble finding a good harness for cats and this one isn't that good. My deceased kitty was lanky and awkward (could only find a good Petsafe harness) but my new kitty looks pretty good so I gave it a try. BUT. This harness was REALLY bulky for her at 10 weeks and pushed her front legs forward so she didn't have full range of motion and didn't tighten enough on her chest. She could tuck both her legs completely into the chest harness so she was just flapping around because she couldn't walk properly. She couldn't shake it quickly, but trying to get her outside would be enough to cause fear and enough that she just wanted to fight it. I like the overall design and the reflective elements, but it didn't fit and didn't work. I returned this and was given a Petsafe Come With Me Kitty (small) and within 10 minutes she was out and about with no restrictions and no plop/flight. I liked the idea, but it didn't work.

Pros
  • No Escape cat vest with double secure closure. 4 special soft Velcro are used on the neck and chest (2 on the neck and 2 on the chest), 3 plastic buckles with adjustable straps are added on the neck and chest to completely prevent the cat from escaping after removing the Velcro.
Cons
  • It's ok
