When I opened the case I was very concerned. It's very light and thin. But it seems to be just what my 2 year old son needs for his iPad. I'm taking off a star because the protective film that came with it is terrible. My husband is a techie, he put screen protectors on all of our family's devices and they look perfect. It had so many bubbles and didn't stick well enough. As soon as we stuck the protective film on and tried to put the iPad in the case, the edges around the iPad twitched. I even tried using a butter knife and pressing down on the screen protector while pushing it into the case, but overnight it popped up again.
