The way the eyelets are made makes it difficult to tie/tie the laces as the laces don't slip easily. In my case, I found the right shoe, which although flexes in the right place when walking, quickly causes a few red spots on the tip of my pinky finger. There is pain associated with this friction. If you feel the inside of this shoe, it looks like there is excess material at the seam in this area. Maybe it's the way the seams line up that crosses the line of the toe and foot, thus causing my problem.
