A few years ago, after a long weekend in the sun, I developed an allergy to lip balm. Since then I've tried about 15 different lip balms, all of which have caused irritation or rashes on or around my lips. My dermatologist recommended trying pure petroleum jelly and it actually worked with no problems. I stumbled across this product at the pharmacy and although it also contains cocoa butter I decided to give it a try. Works great and doesn't bother me at all. I prefer it over plain petroleum jelly because it has a nice coca butter flavor and aroma and also doesn't make my lips as shiny.
