We didn't put them on right away, I bought them in advance on a warm day, opened them recently and you could tell the quality just wasn't that good...then of course literally half an hour after wearing the material around the edges and the bottom began to crumble and fall apart. It's not a normal hard sole, but a different material. I doubt they'll last longer than a pair of socks, but be aware you're better off buying something from Walmart.
