Review on 🏺 Bormioli Rocco Fido Square Jar Set with Blue Lid, 67-3/4 oz (Pack of 2) – SYNCHKG069251 by Jess White

I have ordered many of these glasses and they are fantastic. More expensive than most other storage jars you will find, but they are noticeably thicker (stronger) than other jars and are visually appealing. Like clumsies in the house, they survive my abuse where smaller, thinner cans wouldn't stand a chance. I love her. The problem is how they are delivered and that doesn't seem to have changed in the 3-4 years since my first purchase. When these Bormioli tins ship as a "set of 2" (or more), for some reason the packaging is done by someone who either doesn't know what they're doing or just doesn't care. There are enough photos to show how these glasses are constantly shipped in the same bubble bag, but are then not sealed together or separated by additional packaging to prevent breakage (there is unprotected glass-to-glass contact EVERY time ). Also, in my opinion the packaging around the bubble bag in the shipping carton was inadequate 6 times out of 10. The end result is a glass case that can be easily heard clinking, broken or not. I would describe the packaging quality as "almost negligible". "Carefree” is also a word that comes to mind. Thats so bad. every time Honestly, it's a testament to the quality of these cans that many of them actually made it to my doorstep, safe and sound. To be honest I don't even know how they keep making profits considering how much money is clearly wasted. the very last step of the operation. Maybe that's one of the reasons they're so much more expensive? Anyway, I'm writing this review after receiving a broken replacement for another glass that I received broken. I was wondering if they have changed in their shipping practices since my last order a few years ago. They have not. I would say that 20-25% of my packages arrive with at least 1 defective item. Be prepared to take the time to process and return broken cans if your order is more than 4 packages. Each glass was more than enough individually wrapped. I stand by my previous rating, but if I find this change in shipping practices persists I will update my rating and review.
