I use this to hold a percussion instrument and it fits perfectly. The holster's design makes more sense when it's on the right side of the tool belt. I didn't notice it at first and had to change it (and still keep reaching for it from the left side like I'm used to). The snap to hold on works well, I just got used to the velcro which I found quicker to attach (while hanging from a rope on the roof). The velcro on my old bag is definitely worn out, so maybe the clasp is the best way out. Short little bits attach to the sockets of the bit holder. I've had enough parts fall off the pole and now I just leave the little ones there. Basically a good case.
