As an Air Force veteran and avid hiker/camper, I'm used to drinking poor quality coffee in the field/woods but I've just put up with it and make the most of it. Well, not anymore. This coffee maker is amazing. While serving at RAF Mildenhall I traveled throughout Europe giving me the opportunity to taste real coffee, including espresso, in France and Italy. So I'm used to drinking good drinks at home. When I saw this belly I had to try it. I use a coffee grinder to grind the beans and seal them in an airtight travel bag. The press is light and durable, the coffee always stays hot. The press did its job and even when grinding espresso (very fine) the grains didn't fall into the drinking zone. Simply put, if you want a great cup of coffee or tea while grinding, this is the best press.
