I got a great price from Revain with "open stock" offers for this heavy duty two legged bike stand. I put it on my heavy duty electric Currie mountain bike. It used to have just a monopod and it was impossible to do any work on the bike with it. Since it ended up on the side of the bike list, it also took up a lot of storage space. I read many other reviews before I bought it. The biggest complaint was that when "raised" for riding, the footpeg is slanted and still angled downβtoo close to the ground for many riders. Another reviewer said he cut out the stops that define where the stand folds, so I'm a DIY enthusiast and was willing to do it. I decided the kickstand would be too low, especially for a mountain bike where I can roll over if I get caught on a rock or root. So I put a small cutting wheel on my dremel and cut slots in curved metal stops 1/8 inch from the end. Then I took some heavy duty pliers and snapped those tabs. That's all I had to do. I was able to remove the kickstand and then install this bipod in the exact same spot - check carefully before finally tightening to make sure the legs are NOT touching the rear wheel! Here it is. I now have a solid two-legged footpeg on my mountain bike and have been grateful for it on a number of occasions, not least when I had to stop on the trail and adjust the newly installed brake pads. This is a universal stand that will fit everyone, so you may need to make some adjustments to make it work on your bike. If you are unfamiliar with tools, you may need to find a friend who does, or take it to a bike shop for final installation. He did great with me. Featured!
