The product came with scratches and dents as needed. There are no instructions for changing plates. The plate joints are open and look like they could catch fire. I used duct tape hoping to strengthen the connectors and prevent fires. Haven't used it yet so not sure how or if it works! Will be updated. UPDATE: Everything seems to be working fine, I haven't tried the attachments because I wasn't given any screws or instructions on how to attach them - SIDE NOTE: The machine is advertised as a 12 x 10, it's actually a 12 x 9.
