Review on 🔆 Westinghouse Lighting Alloy 7221600 Ceiling Fan, 42 Inch by Ashley Gomez

While this fan looked exactly how we wanted it, it was so cheaply made. 1st - there was practically no airflow! I don't know if it's 3 blades or the angle of the blades or something else but there was little to no air movement under this fan - very disappointing. So I changed the direction of rotation of the blades and that didn't help either. Second - they no longer include balance weights in installation kits - so they just say it's normal for the thing to wobble when running - is this self balancing? So I pull the chain to adjust the speed and the whole fan tilts in one direction and the blade hits the decorative ceiling beam and pierces the beam and damages one of the blades. A remote control would have prevented this, but apparently it doesn't have one. I've had it now - it's unsafe, doesn't move air and has now damaged our jet and fan blade. Instead of throwing it away I decide to take it to a thrift store - it's new, the motor works fine, one end of the blade is damaged but not bad. We remove it from the ceiling and carefully lay it down - the whole thin plastic cover breaks! So it went in the trash. Over $100 wasted along with our time.
