I have had this steering wheel cover for almost two years. I figured "genuine leather” would last longer, but I am not convinced it is genuine leather. The outer shell of the cover is made of a thin rubbery type material. After about a year it began separating from the base material (maybe leather?). The rubbery covering began bubbling up in places and eventually tearing. I now have two giant holes in the cover where my hands usually go. The material underneath feels like a suede that sheds. I am going to throw this away and find something that may last longer.
