I'm using this as a quick way for a group to hear my Crystal Radio. It has a very high input impedance and if you change the resistor divider at the IC's input you get a much higher gain. I connected the output of one to the input of the other for even more amplification. Add a small speaker and a 9V battery and add them to the crystal set.
