This is a very cute little jacket for my dog who has a very fine short coat and is very cold in the wind and rain. I really like the look, love that it's reversible, it fits as described and I really like the reflective stripe on the shoulders, I think it will protect it on our winter outings. But it is NOT WATERPROOF as described in the listing title. I was specifically looking for something he could wear in the rain and this just doesn't fit. Whenever I buy someone's raincoat around the house, the first thing I do is put my hand inside and hold it under the tap to completely wet the outside and see if it's waterproof or just water-repellent. It will take a while to get wet, but in heavy rain it will happen fairly quickly. So this is NOT suitable for a raincoat, only useful for a drizzle cold day or light rain. In a downpour, your dog will quickly get wet and unhappy.
