
EDIT: I'm changing my review after spending some time using it. One of my boards turned out to be dead on arrival. I got the other two to work on simple projects. However, I started a more complex project with one of the workers and the IC between the two orange squares on the board after applying a 9V battery to the RAW pin (the method they claim you can use should use). I'm not sure if this board really can't handle 9V or if this one was bad too, but it's quite annoying as it worked for a while (at least 40 on/off tests) and suddenly with no changes to my too started smoking part. I don't think these boards last very long, but maybe I just got a bad one. These things are great. I have a simple blinking program that works out of the box in Windows using the Arduino IDE, no drivers required. Let me remind you that it took me about 2 hours to debug: if you connect via Micro USB, double check that the cable you are using supports data transfer. I tested with a random cable I found and it turned out to only support charging so I couldn't download my program.
