I am relatively tall (5'8") and stocky (yeah, nearer the top end of the weight capacity) and I was excited to see if this would work as an outdoor, deck chair. Once I got it inflated, I discovered the fine print that it would need to be checked, and more air needed every couple of days. Between that and the fit, which for me didn't work out. I like to sit up a little taller in my chairs and couches and this caused me to slouch a lot! I tried to get my backside up, close to the back, but it kept sliding down and I felt quite awkward, not quite totally reclining, and certainly not sit up with my back supported.To be fair, smaller, and lighter-weight people may not have the problem I did. It seemed to be built sturdily enough for casual, recreational sitting. the top side material felt nice and smooth/soft. It was pretty easy to inflate and to deflate.
