I was trying to use this so I can control my AC motorhome when plugged into a 20A home outlet Back to website, my username wasn't in the database. Very frustrating. However, I did get an extended warranty from the company. Before connecting the soft starter I measured the current consumption. It was 13 amps. After I connected the device I measured the current and it was 18 amps. Checking all the connections as instructed showed no problems and I tried contacting the service department again but to no avail. The LED displays on the device turn green after approx. 3 minutes. The soft start indicator flashes and the middle indicator flashes once after the soft start, then the green LED lights up and the first two LEDs go out. The problem is that the AC circuit breaker trips after 15 minutes of operation. I am in the process of removing this unit from my RV. I hope to be able to return this device for a full refund. I'm not sure if the company will respond in a timely manner. They couldn't find my username yet.
