So really smaller than most bags. that's why they call it piccolo. but it still holds quite a lot. I didn't like a big backpack on the back. just something for my lock, phone, wallet, some wrenches. And that was about it. with expansion option. Not sure if it's big enough to fit a light jacket in it. comes with a rain cover and hooks for attaching fold out pockets. The handles at the top get in the way and the zippers are a bit confusing. this is an extension lift and it opens the lid. The velcro fits quite well and has just enough stiffness that it isn't flimsy. happy with it. but if you want more then it's not for you.
