Review on SSK Aluminum USB 3.1 M.2 NGFF SSD Enclosure: SATA Solid State Drive Reader & Adapter with UASP, Support NGFF M.2 2280 2260 2242 SSD (Key B/Key B+M, SATA Based) by George Bridgewater

. I found that I only had to bend the unused plastic tabs enough that they no longer touched the circuit board (apparently multiple tabs are used for different size circuit boards). When I saw the internal connector, I also thought that an M.2 connector would not fit. It was a little tricky to insert the M.2 connector, but I pushed the end of the board very firmly and it seated fully in the connector (recommended not to accidentally dislodge). I have several 2.5" SSDs in external enclosures including Samsung EVO 860, WD 3D Nand, Crucial MX500 and BX500 and by far this WD M.2 in this SSK enclosure offers the fastest and smoothest file transfer speeds. the most convenient size to take anywhere. Like my other external SSDs, it hardly gets warm when recording videos or transferring large files, but NEVER gets hot. Very happy with the SSK case.
