Almost useless as a mouse pad

Seems to fit perfectly as a piece of cloth between the keyboard and screen of my closed laptop. And that's how I ended up using it instead of just throwing it in the trash. It's too thin and the surface isn't smooth enough on the top or spooky enough on the bottom to serve as a mouse pad. It just crumples under the mouse or just slides.
