This pump is quite big and has some weight, maybe it tries not to shuffle when it's on. The box is also quite large, but it contains a lot of items. Four of my minivan's tires were low and I used this pump to pump them all up to 33psi and it got through all of them pretty quickly. I didn't find the pump to be very noisy, which may be due to the fact that it stays on the ground all the time. I haven't bothered to inflate the spare tire which is impossible to reach, but at some point I will take care and test the pump on something with a much higher PSI requirement. From the outside it looks like the cylinder is pretty thick metal, but everything else on the pump is silver-colored plastic. What could be better: * The spiral tube looks like cheap plastic, don't know how durable it is * There is no hinge on the body, just cheap collapsible plastic that will eventually tear and fail. Oddly enough, the handle turns easily and isn't flimsy, and the body locks are hinged. * The "work light" is too dim to use. It uses an array of very small, low quality LEDs. Better use your phone if you can.
