🔧 Caulking Remover Scraper: Effortless Silicone Removal Made Easy Review

I got this before installing a new kitchen sink. I'm not much of a DIYer, but this tool did a great job on my crooked caulking line! I tried making the cut with my finger but this worked much better.

Look we've all seen the videos, these things seem convenient, but they're actually not much better (if anything) than using wet paper towels or fingers. Let's face it: save your money, they're not worth the plastic they're made of.

I thought there was a metal tip and a plastic tip on the sealant remover. It disappeared after the first strip I had to remove. I tried using rubber sealant for a smoother finish and it had a gap causing a lip on my seal. Other tools with square edges made it difficult to grip. Not satisfied with the user experience.

This is a type of hard plastic, can be useful for removing silicone from smooth laminate worktops but will not work in the shower when removing sealant from tile joints (mortar will scratch edges). Compression tools can be more helpful if there are instructions on how and where to use them. I end up using a paint scraper, paper towel, and water to get the job done.

The 3 in 1 silicone tool was broken when I opened the package thought it was weird but must have been crushed at some point I hot glued it and it works. The moving part with the scraper was broken where they slide so hot glued, the only problem is you can't use the scraper part as it can't slide out of the glue. everything else is fine and working

When I received the kit all the blue parts looked like they had been warped from prolonged pressure or heat. I kept the kit anyway because I didn't plan on using those parts. However, the larger joint scraper became blunt after a short period of use, making it almost unusable. Plastic is too cheap and too soft for medium to heavy duty seal removal jobs.

It's always difficult to get an even and smooth bead on an embossing job. In addition, the main tool is the fingertip. This whole set of tools is just amazing, from removing old embossing to a very smooth and light finish is just amazing. With all the details included, it's easy to change both the width and the actual shape of the finished bead. The perfect size for any job in any space.
