I am normally a US toddler, given the disclaimer that they are designed for Asian markets I have increased the size as normally recommended. However, there seems to be an odd discrepancy between the size of the outer layer of the shorts and the inner layer. The outside size is perfect. Usually my hips are ripped from anything small enough to fit my waist. Oddly enough, the inner layer, which is usually a compression layer, is just as loose as the outer layer. I'm not sure if they are defective or something like that. The rest of the clothing seems to be of fairly high quality, but the baggy bottom layer feels like I'm wearing old loose boxers that have been tumble dried too many times. Some kind of crap.
