Works as advertised but is the wrong length for my laptop bag (a bit too short) and does not have a screw hole that matches the factory screw pattern to attach to the laptop bag. However, the friction fit is so snug that I can't imagine it falling out of the laptop with normal use/handling. It's about a quarter inch shorter than a factory DVD drive so doesn't look OEM, but I don't care, its purpose is to hold a second hard drive and plug it into the DVD drive's SATA connector. what it is good for. Also, it includes a black border for the DVD drive for its open edge, not sure why it has DVD controls as it's not a DVD drive. In this situation, a normal black plastic frame will do.
- Please Note: Customers must remove the optical drive bezel (bezel) and re-use the bracket on the cart for it to function properly!
