Travel mechanic by trade. I've never come across a tractor or vehicle that needed one for, but always thought it was great to save time and hassle after opening the cooling system. Uses the adapter on the bottom left of a supercharged 3800 Series 2 Buick Regal 2003. The adapter fits well but the vacuum function does not work. Too much play on the blue hose quick connector. If I slowly turn/push down/reverse it, I can create a slight vacuum, but not enough to "squeeze the coolant hoses". I was hoping for a color coded instruction manual for the adapters, but the kit in the manual is completely different from the kit I received. Black and white, blurred, and misnumbered. The fitting mentioned by another reviewer in another blue case Goplus kit is a euro fitting, but I can confirm that it includes one that will work with port freight quick disconnects I had in my toolbox drawer. It is NOT epoxy or plastic welded. This is an o-ring seat. 9/16 should get it out immediately. I will try to replace the o-rings in the vacuum pump quick connector and upgrade it further, but for now it gets one star due to a factory defect. Pump and hoses/quick couplers are all tight and working properly. Draws and holds vacuum indefinitely. My previous problem was that the (regular) radiator cap on the bottom left didn't cover the vent hole as intended. The gasket on these three common covers on the bottom left is loose and the spring is weak and wobbly. The REST of the caps looks well made and the entry works. I will make my own 3 universal caps as needed to replace them. Rating upgrade from 1 star to 4 stars. Overall, for the price, you can't beat it and I'll be upgrading. I have trouble with nylon caps, but as a heavy gear specialist everything else seems to work fine. Expect to change some o-rings if you buy this, otherwise a solid block. Update: This kit was also used to test the air conditioning control unit. Mixed doors didn't work. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pump and insert it into the rubber cone in this kit and use the vacuum to diagnose bad vacuum lines and a bad pump. Maybe he'll find other uses for it. Upgrade to 5 stars because it's a somewhat multifunctional tool.
