I really wanted and needed this GuideLight 2 sockets for 3-4 sockets in the house. I have regular outlets that work great and are easy to install, but for some reason these outlets made specifically for GFI outlets don't work. The problem was in the installation. Getting the pins to slide in, on, or past the outer pins to apply power just didn't work. I even forced them to open GFI as they kind of overlapped. My outlets work fine, but these panels won't do what they need to. It seems to me that they were too narrow-minded with their contacts. I've tried them in my basement outlets and a few other outlets around the house with the same results. I wish I could get them to work. I started by buying 3 packs hoping that if they worked I would order another set of 3 to complete the install as I have panels all over the house.
