This is described as XL, fitting a women's 12 - 18. I would say in American sizing the shirt I got is a medium or a 10/12. Which is my size so it fits just right, but it's not "loose" by any means. I'm tall so it isn't as long as the photo either. I'm still giving it five stars, however, because I love dark brown and that color isn't sold much in my local stores, and because it's a nice cut and a nice material. Really pretty color in the brown version.
