Review on Victrola Aviator 8-In-1 Bluetooth Record Player &Amp by Derrick Shaw

Revainrating 1 out of 5

MP3 recording requires a computer and the sound quality is poor

Good looking and housed in a well made wooden case. Works as advertised. CONS: The swingarm does not automatically return to neutral. Instead, the player simply stops spinning at the end of the recording. The "pointer" must be reset manually each time. Regarding MP3 recording, this unit DOES NOT contain a CD burner. Rather, a USB cable is included along with the necessary computer software to record directly to your computer. You CANNOT burn a vinyl recording directly onto a CD. After all, the sound is not enough for such a price. There's good volume, but all the bass is harsh. Records sound tinny. There are no audio adjustments other than the typical volume up/down. Although not tested yet, it appears that all MP3 recordings made with this unit will play well on a high quality stereo system. The owner's manual recommends replacing the needle every 50 hours of play.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
