I bought this to take with me on vacation so I can journal (and maybe blog) about my travels. The first test has just been completed: a two week cruise around Alaska (Ketchikan, Endicott Arm, Juneau, Huna, Anchorage, Kodiak, Homer and Sitka). I wanted a full-size keyboard that was portable, easy to control, and would work with my iPad Pro. I chose it for its size, the fact that it gets power from my iPad (instead of requiring a charger), and the fact that it's a wired connection via a Lightning cable, not Bluetooth . Nothing against Bluetooth, but the lack of pairing makes things a lot easier. That works great! It connects easily with no performance issues. It has some great shortcuts, many of which I haven't used, but at least they are available. Even though it's a full-size keyboard, its small size allows me to put it in my carry-on along with my other essentials and it doesn't take up much space at all. It's also durable - the cable connector feels solid. I used it a few times a day to record events and activities, so it was in and out of my bag often. No problem. This is my next adventure: North Atlantic cruise (including Greenland, Iceland and Norway) for 6 weeks.
