Review on πŸ”„ Enhance Bucket Organization with Bucket Boss 56 Bucket Tool Organizer (Fits 5 Gallon Bucket) - 10056 by Gary Christon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I had high expectations - Tool Organizers

Received this today, don't get me wrong, construction and materials seem very good. However, it looks like whoever developed this doesn't really use it for tools. Test, test, test. A common complaint is that the pockets aren't deep enough (the outer top row and all inner pockets are too shallow). I'm trying to replace a 15 year old (roughly) CLC variant that I used on my dog-eaten plumber that had pretty deep pockets. In the inside pockets I carry 2 medium pipe wrenches, 1 large pipe wrench, 4 slotted and slotted pliers (440, 430, 420, 426), plumber's wrench, pipe vise, gas shut-off valve wrench, stem valve seat. Wrenches and a few other tools should all be neatly stowed in the inner pockets. I carry all my wrenches handle up so the weight is on the bottom of the bag and they don't get stuck in it. Those inner pockets aren't deep enough to hold one of those wrenches while being carried, pushed, swung and thrown into a truck. The outer top row is barely deep enough to securely hold a pair of large adjustable wrenches. I stopped trying to put my tools in my pockets as the wrenches didn't work inside or out which is my priority. There are no wrench or tongue and groove pockets on this product. The top look can barely handle the two large wrenches I carry around, which is about as good as it gets with the current design. Observing that the tools stay in that organizer while it's on the conference room table isn't the same as observing that they stay inside as they're being moved from job to job.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
