With the proliferation of low-power devices, especially USB devices, wall warts have become an epidemic. Finding power strips of this size and layout is frustrating. Until that glorious day when some sort of industry standard emerges that defines their size, shape, and plug orientation, we're on the hunt for outlets big enough to plug in more than one power supply at a time. This NTONPOWER band is about as close as we'll get at this point. The outlets are spaced far enough apart to offer more placement options than a traditional power strip. The construction feels solid and the cable is just right, although not too long. Four additional USB ports are handy. Built-in surge protection is a bonus. Overall, this is a well-made and practical piece of hardware.
