I bought these shoes for my 8 year old son in March and today he came home and said he had holes in the soles and his feet got wet . So they were a bit expensive shoe as they had to be replaced after 6 months. This is the first pair of shoes I have replaced for one of my 4 children before they outgrew them. My 10 year old son has the same shoes and has not yet complained about any holes. Both were bought at the same time. Who knows if I'll check them out tonight. Because of the comfort, fit and color choices of these shoes (and given that brand prices are pretty high for shoes that don't last very long anyway) we WILL be ordering another pair and they are currently in my car.
