So far so good. They don't bother my legs or ankles, didn't come loose and worked pretty much as I expected. They are a bit long even in the shortest fit - I don't have particularly narrow feet but my jeans are full length so the straps were a bit loose when I fastened them to the cuffs. I tucked the jeans in a bit and attached the straps at the crease, which works great despite the slightly larger size. I had to adjust them a few times so they didn't touch my ankles as others have mentioned, but I'll probably get used to where to strap them on. I'm glad I got this pair, which shortens to 3.5 inches - most others I've seen start at 4 inches.
