Review on Dive into the Mesmerizing World of Chiyogami Patterns with Origami Paper Sheets by Carrie Spencer

Matt, thin, with a strange smell

The quality of this paper is very poor. It's so thin that the patterns on the back fade to a solid color. The colors are not as bright as in the product description. For example, bright yellow is more like muted green. Worst of all, the paper has a rather nasty chemical smell, which is the first time I've experienced working with a paper product. I thought it would dissipate over time, but no. It's definitely noticeable and uncomfortable to the point where my kids ask me why it smells. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The origami you can buy at Dollar Store or Daiso is actually of much better quality. The only plus point of this product is the patterns, which are really nice but fail to impress without the bright colors.
