It's fine for travel as long as you don't have to be still while drying your hair.
. It's a little noisy but I expected it given its compactness. I've found that I have to be careful because if it's too close to my ear it causes a lot of vibration, almost like I'm standing in front of the speakers at a concert. The reason for my missing 5 stars is the heat. There is no heating setting, which is normal but does not keep the same heating temperature. The tumble dryer will go cold, warm, even warmer, and then cold again to restart the cycle.
