Good for hair care
I don't need them for travel, I just wanted them to add volume to my crown and it worked great. I like bobby pins more than old fashioned metal bobby pins, they work much better with my fine/fine hair, I've just been experimenting a bit with how to place them so they stay in place. The lever part rests against my scalp, it forms a nice wedge to hold the reels firmly in place, preventing them from falling/extending/hanging as other reviewers have mentioned. Head, I really wish I had bought a full set for my whole head as the curls it creates are gorgeous.
