I like real hair rollers, wish they came with metal parts to attach to my hair so I don't get tangled. Three stars because I bought the same product in June 2017 and had to replace it for a little over a year due to the lid cracking down the middle shortly after purchase, but now the lid is half broken off completely. This is my third set. One of the previous kits was a larger model (more wheels) and the other was this size. My two previous Conair hot rollers had a thermostat failure, the rollers got WAY too hot and some of them melted into the block. CREEPY. Now I hook them up to a timer that my electrician installed. Would it really be that difficult to include 5 wire clamps? It is assumed that these are casters. Wires are notoriously more compact and durable than plastic clips. There's even a slot for clips. I don't need them for travel, I just wanted them to add volume to my crown and it worked great. I like bobby pins more than old fashioned metal bobby pins, they work much better with my fine/fine hair, I've just been experimenting a bit with how to place them so they stay in place. This product is amazing! I have two young children so it's great to wear these roller skates while I make breakfast. I take them off before I go. Great soft curls! I finger it. I want 6 videos. Great hot rollers! They heat up quickly so if you want super curly tights then they are not for you but as you can see they give some curl and good volume. Love it!

I've come to the conclusion that thick hair is not compatible with curlers. I really love them but of course curling irons work better. I have very thick, coarse, shoulder length hair, but I'm still gray (to give you context). I actually bought an extra set to use at the same time, but even with that I only cover half my head! Great set of 1.5" rollers for travel or limited counter space. I have shoulder-length hair and am not that skilled or patient with a round brush, blow dryer or curling iron.
